Yes, you can take the train from Charles de Gaulle airport to Disneyland Paris. The fastest is the direct TGV from the Terminal 2 TGV station to Marne-la-Vallee Chessy: about 10 to 12 minutes, with SNCF fares that vary by date. The cheapest is the RER B to Chatelet-Les Halles, then the RER A to Marne-la-Vallee Chessy: 80 to 100 minutes on the €14 Paris Region airport ticket (€7 for children aged 4 to 9).
Prefer no trains, no stairs?
A fixed-fare transfer from CDG takes 40–60 minutes to your hotel door, with the driver in arrivals, flight tracking and free child seats.

Option 1: the direct TGV from CDG to Marne-la-Vallee Chessy
Charles de Gaulle is the only Paris airport with a direct train to Disneyland Paris. High-speed TGV services on the line that skirts Paris to the east call at the airport and then at Marne-la-Vallee Chessy, the station at the park gates, about 10 to 12 minutes later. The trains are long-distance services heading to or from cities such as Lyon, Marseille, Bordeaux or Lille, so the airport-to-Disney hop is a short ride on a much longer journey.
Step by step
- Find the TGV station. The Aeroport Charles de Gaulle 2 TGV station is in the centre of Terminal 2, signposted “Gare / Trains” from the Terminal 2 halls. Landing at Terminal 1 or 3? Take the free CDGVAL shuttle train to Terminal 2.
- Buy or show your ticket. Book ahead on SNCF Connect, the official SNCF app and website, or at the SNCF ticket office in the station. Choose Marne-la-Vallee Chessy as the destination.
- Go to the TGV platforms, not the RER. The same station also has RER B platforms for central Paris. Check the departures board for your train number and platform.
- Get off at the first stop. Marne-la-Vallee Chessy is the first stop after the airport. From the station, the park entrances, Disney Village and the nearest Disney Hotels are a short walk.
What to know before you rely on the TGV
The TGV is the fastest way from CDG to Disneyland Paris, but it has three catches. First, departures are not frequent: published timetables run roughly from 7:00 to 22:00 with gaps of 30 minutes to well over an hour, and if your flight lands late you may miss your booked train. Second, prices are dynamic, like airline fares, and the cheapest tickets are usually non-refundable. Third, you carry your own luggage through the terminal and onto a high-floor train, then from the station to your hotel. Children under four travel free on a parent’s lap on SNCF trains, but there are no child seats on board.
Option 2: the RER from CDG to Disneyland Paris
The RER is the suburban express network. No single RER line runs from CDG to Disneyland Paris, so the trip uses two lines with a change in central Paris. It is the cheapest option, and since the Paris Region ticket reform the €14 airport ticket covers the whole journey through to Marne-la-Vallee Chessy.
Step by step
- Buy the Paris Region airport ticket. €14 per adult and €7 for children aged 4 to 9 in 2026; under-4s travel free. It is sold on a rechargeable Navigo Easy card (an extra €2 for the card) or loaded onto your phone through the official transport apps. There is no paper ticket.
- Board the RER B towards Paris. The RER B starts at the Aeroport CDG 2 station in Terminal 2 and also stops at Aeroport CDG 1, reached from Terminals 1 and 3 by CDGVAL. Any train towards Paris works.
- Change at Chatelet-Les Halles. After about 35 to 40 minutes, leave the RER B at Chatelet-Les Halles and follow signs to the RER A. It is a large, busy station; lifts exist but can be slow or out of service, so expect stairs and corridors with luggage.
- Take the RER A towards Marne-la-Vallee Chessy. The RER A splits east of Paris. Check the platform screen: you need a train whose destination is Marne-la-Vallee Chessy, not Boissy-Saint-Leger. The ride is about 40 minutes.
- Arrive at the park gates. Marne-la-Vallee Chessy is the end of the line, a few minutes on foot from the parks and Disney Village.
Two practical warnings. The RER B is a commuter line and is crowded in weekday rush hours, roughly 07:00 to 09:30 and 16:30 to 19:30. It is also subject to planned engineering works, especially at weekends, when buses can replace trains on part of the route; check the RATP or SNCF traffic information before you travel. Our guide to the RER A to Disneyland Paris covers the second half of the journey in more detail.
Train or car: which suits your trip?
The train makes sense for one or two adults with light bags, especially if the TGV timetable lines up with your landing time. It becomes harder work as soon as you add children, pushchairs, several suitcases or a late arrival. The TGV still leaves you at the station rather than your hotel, and the RER involves a change in one of the busiest stations in Europe.
A pre-booked CDG to Disneyland Paris taxi takes 40 to 60 minutes in normal traffic, with the driver waiting in arrivals and child seats fitted in advance. Because the fare is fixed per vehicle, a family of four or more often finds it comparable to four or five rail tickets once the TGV price is counted. You can see the exact fare for your date and group in the booking tool, or compare all routes on the Disneyland Paris airport transfer page. Tips for taking the train with luggage and children
- Book the TGV after you know your flight is on time, or choose a flexible ticket, so a delay does not cost you the fare.
- Keep one adult hands-free for children at ticket barriers and on escalators; RER gates are narrow for large cases.
- Avoid rush hours on the RER B where you can; an off-peak train makes the change at Chatelet far easier.
- Plan the last leg: Disney Hotels other than the Disneyland Hotel are a walk or a free Disney shuttle bus from the station, and Val d’Europe hotels are one RER stop back towards Paris.
- Consider a split approach: train on the way in if your arrival is daytime and light, and a pre-booked transfer for an early-morning departure when trains are not yet running.
