There is no Disneyland Paris airport. The resort, in Marne-la-Vallee about 32 km east of central Paris, is served by three Paris airports: Charles de Gaulle (CDG), the nearest at about 38 km and 40–60 minutes by car; Orly, about 50 km away; and Beauvais, about 115 km away. What the resort does have is its own railway station, Marne-la-Vallee Chessy, right at the park gates.

Why people search for a Disneyland Paris airport
It is a reasonable assumption. Large resorts often sit next to a regional airport, and the name “Disneyland Paris” suggests a single destination with its own gateway. In reality the resort was built in the new town of Marne-la-Vallee, east of Paris, and relies on the capital’s existing airports. No airfield in Chessy, Serris, Magny-le-Hongre or the wider Val d’Europe area takes scheduled passenger flights, and none is planned.
When travel sites, airlines or package operators mention the “Disneyland Paris airport”, they almost always mean Paris Charles de Gaulle, because it is the closest and best connected. Sometimes they mean Marne-la-Vallee Chessy station, which handles high-speed trains and works, in practice, like the resort’s own terminal for rail travellers. Knowing the difference avoids two common mistakes: booking a flight into a distant airport because it has “Paris” in its name, and expecting to walk from the plane to the parks.
The three airports that serve Disneyland Paris
| Airport | Road distance | By car | Direct train? | Typical airlines |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Charles de Gaulle (CDG) | About 38 km (24 miles) | 40–60 min | Yes, TGV in about 10–15 min | Air France, British Airways, easyJet, Delta, American, Emirates and most long-haul airlines |
| Orly (ORY) | About 50 km (31 miles) | 50–70 min | No; Metro 14 then RER A | Transavia, Vueling, easyJet, Air France domestic |
| Beauvais (BVA) | About 115 km (71 miles) | 90–105 min | No rail link at all | Ryanair, Wizz Air |
Drive times are for normal traffic; allow more in weekday rush hours. Airline lists are indicative and change by season.
Charles de Gaulle: the de facto Disneyland Paris airport
CDG sits north-east of Paris, on the same side of the city as the resort, and the drive is a straight motorway run along the A104 and A4 with no city centre to cross. It is also the only airport with a direct train: high-speed TGV services from the station in the middle of Terminal 2 make Marne-la-Vallee Chessy their first stop, about 10 to 12 minutes later. Departures are spread through the day rather than every few minutes, so check times before you rely on them. Step-by-step details are in our CDG to Disneyland Paris guide, and if you prefer a car, a fixed-price CDG to Disneyland Paris taxi takes you straight to your hotel.
Orly: south of Paris, no direct rail
Orly is closer to central Paris than CDG but on the opposite side from Disneyland. The drive skirts the south-eastern suburbs and usually takes 50 to 70 minutes. There is no direct train: Metro line 14 now runs from the airport into Paris, where you change for the RER A out to Marne-la-Vallee Chessy. The Magical Shuttle coach also serves Orly. If your flight lands here, see the Orly to Disneyland Paris transfer page.
Beauvais: a Paris airport in name
Beauvais-Tille is used by low-cost airlines and sold as “Paris Beauvais”, but it is about 85 km north of the capital and roughly 115 km by road from Disneyland Paris. There is no train and no Magical Shuttle; the public option is the airport coach to Porte Maillot followed by the Metro and RER A, which takes around two and a half to three hours. A direct car takes about 90 to 105 minutes. Check the Beauvais to Disneyland taxi price before you commit to a cheap fare.
Marne-la-Vallee Chessy: the station that acts like a terminal
If any single place deserves the label “Disneyland Paris gateway”, it is Marne-la-Vallee Chessy station. It sits between the entrances of Disneyland Park and Disney Adventure World (the former Walt Disney Studios Park) and a short walk from Disney Village and the closest Disney Hotels. Two kinds of train stop there. The RER A, the suburban express line, links the resort with central Paris stations such as Chatelet-Les Halles, Gare de Lyon and Nation in roughly 40 minutes. TGV high-speed trains connect it with CDG airport and with French cities including Lyon, Marseille, Bordeaux, Lille and Strasbourg, so many visitors arriving from elsewhere in France never touch an airport at all.
For travellers from the UK, the rail route is Eurostar to Paris Gare du Nord and then a transfer across to the RER A or a car. Our Eurostar to Disneyland Paris guide covers the options.
Getting from the airport to Disneyland Paris
Because there is no airport on site, every air arrival includes a transfer. The options are the same in principle from CDG and Orly; Beauvais is the exception, with road travel the only practical route.
- Private transfer: a car or van for your party only, booked in advance with your flight number. The driver meets you in arrivals and takes you to your hotel door. One fixed fare per vehicle, shown in the booking tool before you confirm.
- Magical Shuttle: the shared coach from CDG and Orly to the Disney Hotels, sold per seat, with several hotel stops. Simple for one or two adults travelling light; no car seats.
- TGV from CDG: fastest when the timetable suits you, but you handle your own luggage at both ends and still need to reach your hotel from the station.
- RER: the cheapest option on the Paris Region airport ticket, but slow, with at least one change in central Paris and stairs to manage with bags.
- Taxi from the rank or ride-hailing app: available on arrival, but the price is not fixed in advance and child seats are not guaranteed.
For families, the decision usually comes down to luggage and children rather than price alone. A family of four paying per seat on a coach or train often finds that one fixed Disneyland Paris airport transfer fare is comparable, without changes, waiting or carrying bags through stations. For journeys from a Paris hotel rather than an airport, see the Paris Disney transfer page.
Choosing your airport for a Disneyland Paris trip
Start with flights, then add the ground journey. If fares are similar, choose CDG: it is the nearest airport, the best connected, and the easiest for late arrivals because private transfers and taxis run around the clock. Orly is a sound alternative when the flight is clearly cheaper or better timed, as the extra drive outside rush hour is modest. Beauvais only works when the saving is large enough to cover a much longer transfer and roughly an extra hour each way. Our full comparison of the closest airport to Disneyland Paris goes into airlines, rail options and timings in more detail.
Whichever airport you pick, book the onward journey with your flight number attached. Flights into Paris are delayed often enough that a driver who tracks your arrival is worth more than a small price difference, and it means the last part of the journey is settled before you leave home.
