Train or Taxi from CDG to Disneyland?
The RER train costs €17 per person and takes 90+ minutes with two connections. A private taxi costs €70 fixed for 1–3 people and takes 45 minutes direct. For a family of three, the taxi is only €3 more — but saves nearly an hour and eliminates all the luggage hassle.

The RER Train: How It Works
To take the RER from CDG to Disneyland Paris, you need to make two separate train journeys:
Step 1 — CDG to Châtelet-Les Halles (RER B)
From CDG take the free CDGVAL shuttle to Terminal 2F, then board RER B southbound. Ride to Châtelet-Les Halles (about 35 minutes). Ticket: ~€12.
Step 2 — Châtelet to Marne-la-Vallée (RER A)
Transfer to RER A (direction: Marne-la-Vallée — Chessy) and ride to the terminus. About 40 minutes. You may need a separate Zone 5 ticket depending on your travel card — total around €17.
Total: 90–115 minutes and two transfers
Add time for platform waits, baggage, and potential delays. The connection at Châtelet involves escalators and can be confusing with heavy suitcases.
The Taxi: How It Works
With a pre-booked private taxi, your driver is already waiting at arrivals when you land. You hand over your luggage, get in the car, and 45 minutes later you're at Disneyland — no platforms, no transfers, no crowds. The route is CDG → A104 → A4 → Disneyland Paris: 43 kilometres of motorway, mostly clear outside rush hour.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is the train really €17 from CDG to Disneyland?
Roughly, yes. CDG is in fare Zone 5 and Marne-la-Vallée/Chessy is also Zone 5, but in the opposite direction from Paris. A standard Île-de-France ticket covers both legs, costing around €17 in 2025. Check the RATP website for the latest fares before you travel.
For a family of four, is the taxi actually cheaper than the train?
Very close. Four adults on the RER = €68. Our taxi for four = €80. The taxi costs €12 more, but saves roughly 60 minutes and eliminates two train connections. Most families consider that excellent value — especially at the start of a holiday.
What if I miss the last RER?
The last RER A toward Marne-la-Vallée leaves central Paris around 11:20pm on weekdays and slightly later on weekends. If your flight arrives late, you may miss it entirely. Our taxi service runs 24/7 at the same €70 price — we regularly pick up passengers from midnight and 3am flights.
