School Holidays at Disneyland Paris — Plan Your Transfer
School holidays drive the majority of Disneyland Paris visits. UK half-terms in October, February, and May, alongside Easter and the long summer break, see the park fill to near-capacity. French vacances scolaires follow a similar pattern, and families from across northern Europe converge on the resort in the same weeks. The park is still wonderful during these periods — but the logistics require more planning.
For transfers, the key is booking early. When a school holiday week falls in the same window for both UK and French families — Easter and October half-term frequently overlap — demand for private transfers spikes sharply. Book your school holiday taxi to Disneyland Paris at least 2–3 weeks in advance; for summer and Christmas, aim for a month or more.

UK School Holiday Periods — Transfer Advice
February Half-Term (mid-February)
One of the quieter school holiday weeks at the park — good for shorter queues. Still book your transfer 2 weeks ahead as this period is growing in popularity.
Easter (late March / April — 2 weeks)
The biggest school holiday period after summer. Flights from the UK book out early and so do transfers. Book 3–4 weeks ahead minimum. CDG from approximately £60 for UK families.
May Half-Term (late May)
A short but busy week. Typically falls at the same time as Ascension and Pentecost in France, making it a popular crossover period. Book 2 weeks ahead.
Summer Holidays (July–August)
The peak of the year. Disneyland Paris is at its busiest and transfers fill up weeks in advance. Book 4–6 weeks ahead for summer travel. Plan an early park arrival to beat the queues.
October Half-Term (late October)
Overlaps with Halloween Season at Disneyland Paris — one of the park's best themed periods. Very popular with families. Book 3 weeks ahead.
Tips for School Holiday Transfers with Children
Multiple Child Seats Available
We carry infant carriers, toddler seats, and booster seats. Tell us the ages of all children in your group when you book — we install the correct seats before we collect you.
Arrive Early for Shorter Queues
School holidays mean busier parks. An early morning transfer to arrive for park opening is worth considering — the first hour has queues a fraction of the afternoon peak.
Extra Luggage for Longer Stays
School holiday trips often run 3–5 nights with full family luggage. Tell us your bag count when booking so we size the vehicle correctly — larger vehicles have ample boot space.
Travelling with Extended Family
Groups of 6–8 travelling with grandparents or cousins should book the minivan. For groups larger than 8, we can arrange two coordinated vehicles arriving together.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is Disneyland Paris busier during school holidays?
Yes. UK and French school holidays — February half-term, Easter, May bank holiday, summer (July–August), and October half-term — are the busiest periods at the park. Queue times and park capacity are highest during these weeks.
Should I book my taxi further in advance during school holidays?
Yes. Book at least 2–3 weeks ahead for any school holiday period. For summer and Christmas, book a month or more in advance. Transfer vehicles fill up quickly when demand is high.
Are prices higher during school holidays?
No. Our prices are fixed year-round. A school holiday taxi to Disneyland Paris from CDG costs €70 for 1–3 passengers — the same in August as in January.
Do you accommodate large family groups for school holiday transfers?
Yes. We have vehicles for 1–3, 4–5, and 6–8 passengers. Multiple child seats are available free of charge. For groups larger than 8, we coordinate multiple vehicles. Tell us your group size and children's ages when booking.
