UK families guide to getting to Disneyland Paris by taxi

The UK Traveller's Situation at CDG Airport

You've flown from the UK, landed at Charles de Gaulle, and your kids are buzzing about Disneyland Paris. The last thing you want is to navigate a foreign airport, find the RER train, change platforms with luggage, and arrive exhausted before the holiday has even started.

This is exactly why most UK families who visit Disneyland Paris more than once choose a private taxi transfer for the airport leg. A pre-booked private transfer from CDG to Disneyland Paris costs approximately £60 (€70) — and your driver is waiting in arrivals with your name on a board the moment you exit customs. It works just like a private shuttle to Disneyland Paris, but reserved exclusively for your family.

Why UK Families Choose Private Taxi Over the RER Train

The RER B train from CDG to Marne-la-Vallée (Chessy) — the Disneyland Paris station — costs about €18 per adult and £9 per child. For a family of four that's around €54, compared to €70 for the taxi. The difference is roughly £13.

But consider what you get for that extra £13:

No station navigation

CDG RER platforms require lifts, escalators, and navigating Terminal connections — with luggage and children.

No platform changes

The RER B requires changing at Gare du Nord or Châtelet to reach Marne-la-Vallée.

Direct to your hotel

The RER drops you at the Disneyland station — then you still need to walk or take a bus to your specific hotel.

No luggage struggle

Your driver loads and unloads every bag. No overhead racks, no crowded carriages with holiday suitcases.

Child seats included

The RER has no child seat provision. For young children, a private car with proper free child seats is far safer.

One-way or return

Book a return trip for 10% off and enjoy seamless transport both ways.

Prefer the Eurostar? London to Disneyland Paris by Train

Not every UK family flies. The Eurostar from London St Pancras reaches Paris Gare du Nord in around 2h 20min, with no airport security queues and city-centre departures. It is a popular choice for families who would rather travel by train than fly with young children.

The catch is the last leg. Gare du Nord is huge and busy, and getting from there to Marne-la-Vallée–Chessy (the Disneyland Paris station) on public transport means an RER B to RER A connection with luggage. Instead, we collect you directly outside Gare du Nord and drive you straight to your Disney hotel for a fixed €120 (~£100), around 45–60 minutes. Send us your Eurostar train number and we track the arrival, so your driver is waiting when you step off.

Flying Ryanair into Beauvais? Read This First

UK budget airlines such as Ryanair and Wizz Air fly from Stansted and Luton into Beauvais (BVA), which is 80 km north of Paris — much further out than CDG. The flights can be cheap, but the onward journey is longer. Our direct Beauvais airport transfer to Paris and Disneyland is a fixed €160 (~£135) and takes about 90 minutes, which is usually far simpler than the Beauvais shuttle bus plus a Paris train change with tired children.
