Multigenerational Disney Trips: Transport That Works

One journey that suits grandparents, parents and children alike.

A multigenerational Disney trip is one of the most rewarding ways to visit the parks, but the transport has to work for everyone at once: grandparents who tire on long walks, parents juggling logistics and children who need car seats. The trick is choosing a single journey that suits the whole age range. This guide explains how a private minivan brings three generations together from the airport to the resort with the least fuss.

One vehicle, three generations together

A saloon seats up to three passengers, but a multigenerational party needs the space of a minivan seating 7-8. Travelling in one vehicle means grandparents, parents and children all arrive at the hotel together, with nobody left waiting at the rank or split across separate cars. If the extended family is larger than eight, we can arrange additional vehicles to travel alongside each other so everyone stays coordinated.

Comfort for the oldest and youngest at once

The beauty of a private transfer is that it caters for every generation in the same trip. For children under 10, French law requires an appropriate restraint, so we fit free infant, convertible and booster seats matched to each child before pickup. For grandparents, our English-speaking drivers provide meet-and-greet, help with luggage and assist with boarding at an unhurried pace. If anyone needs an adapted vehicle, wheelchair-accessible vehicles can be arranged on request.

  • Minivan seating 7-8 keeps the whole family together.
  • Free child seats for the youngest, help with boarding for the oldest.
  • Flight tracking and free waiting so no generation is rushed.

Why door-to-door beats the RER for mixed groups

The RER B and A route from CDG involves a change at Châtelet–Les Halles with stairs and crowds, and over 60-90 minutes it is hard work for both small children and older relatives. A private transfer covers the 38km in around 45 minutes, with no changes, so the slowest and youngest members of the party are equally comfortable. From Orly it is around 50km and 50-60 minutes. One smooth ride sets a happy tone for the holiday.

One fixed fare for the whole family

The fare is fixed with no meter, from €70 from CDG and from €90 from Orly, with a 10% saving on a return. Because the price is per vehicle, a full minivan often works out very economical per head across three generations. There is plenty of boot space for everyone's cases, a folded pushchair and any mobility aids, so nobody travels with a bag on their lap.
