Marne-la-Vallee Chessy Station to Disney Hotels

Off the train and almost there. Here is how to cover that last short stretch to your hotel without the hassle.

The journey from Chessy station to Disney hotels is the shortest leg of any Disneyland Paris trip, yet it still trips people up. Marne-la-Vallee Chessy sits right beside the parks and handles the RER A as well as TGV and Eurostar trains, so you step off practically on the doorstep. The question is simply how to finish those final few hundred metres or kilometres with bags in tow. This guide runs through walking, the shuttle and a private taxi.

What you arrive into

Marne-la-Vallee Chessy is the single station serving the resort. The RER A platforms and the high-speed terminal share the same complex, and the exit feeds you towards the Disney Village and the park gates. The closest hotels are within walking range; the farther ones, especially Davy Crockett Ranch, are not.

Walking: fine for some, tough for others

If your hotel is one of the nearer properties and you are travelling light, the walk is pleasant and quick. With several suitcases, a pushchair and children who have already had a long day, the same walk feels rather different. Distances to the outer resorts add up fast, and there is no shortcut on foot to the ranch.

Shuttle or private taxi

Disney's hotel shuttles exist, but they can mean queuing and several stops before yours. A private taxi removes all of that:

  • Driver meets you with a name board at the agreed point
  • Straight to your own hotel reception, no shared stops
  • Train tracking and free waiting if you are delayed

It is most worthwhile for arrivals from the TGV or Eurostar who then face onward travel, or for anyone heading to a distant resort. And of course, when it is time to leave for the airport, the same service runs in reverse.

Planning the wider journey

If Chessy is part of a longer itinerary, with a flight at one end, it pays to book the connecting transfer in advance. That way the station pickup, the hotel and the eventual airport run are all arranged before you travel, with fixed prices and no last-minute scrambling.

Frequently asked questions

Which station serves Disneyland Paris?

Marne-la-Vallee Chessy is the station beside the parks. It handles both the RER A and high-speed TGV and Eurostar services, and sits a short walk from the park entrance and the closest Disney hotels.

Can I walk from Chessy station to the Disney hotels?

Some hotels are walkable, but the walk can be long with luggage and tired children, particularly to the more distant resorts. Davy Crockett Ranch is several kilometres away and not walkable at all.

Is there a shuttle from Chessy to the hotels?

Disney runs hotel shuttles, but they can involve waiting and multiple stops. A private taxi takes you straight to your own hotel reception with no shared stops.

How much is a taxi from Chessy station to a Disney hotel?

It is a very short local hop. For onward airport or city journeys our fixed fares apply, and station pickups are easily arranged when you book; just share your train details.

Will a driver meet me at the station with a name board?

Yes. Our meet-and-greet service means the driver waits at the agreed point holding a board with your name, tracks your train and waits free of charge if it runs late.
